Pain & Movement

Headache & Migraine

Recurring headaches, including tension-type headaches arising from the neck and stress-related patterns.

What it usually feels like

  • Band-like pressure around the head
  • Pain beginning at the base of the skull
  • Triggered by stress, screens or missed meals
  • Associated neck tightness

What commonly contributes to it

  • Neck muscle tension from posture
  • Irregular meals and dehydration
  • Screen exposure and eye strain
  • Poor sleep
  • Stress

How we approach it

For tension-type headaches we treat the neck and scalp musculature directly, and address the trigger pattern — meals, sleep, screens and stress load.

When to see a doctor instead

Sudden severe headache, headache with fever and neck stiffness, headache after a head injury, or a new headache pattern after age 50 needs urgent medical review.

Start with an assessment.

Every plan here begins with understanding what is actually happening. Forty minutes, and you leave knowing where you stand.
