How we work
What is naturopathy, and is it safe?
Naturopathy is a system of care using non-invasive methods — diet, movement, hydrotherapy, mud therapy, massage and lifestyle change — to support the body's own recovery. At Nirmal Kaya the scope is strictly non-invasive: no injections, no IV therapy, no colon hydrotherapy, and no advice to stop prescribed medication.
Naturopathy covers a wide range of practice internationally, and not all of it is something we do. It is more useful to tell you where we draw the line than to define the whole field.
What we offer
- Structured consultation and objective assessment
- Manual therapy for muscle, joint and circulatory concerns
- Hydrotherapy and thermal therapy, applied externally
- Mud therapy for inflammation, skin and relaxation
- Therapeutic yoga, corrective movement and breathwork
- Clinical nutrition built around normal household food
- Structured support for stress and sleep
What we do not offer
No invasive procedures, no in-patient care, no emergency treatment. We are not a hospital. Our services support your health; they are not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment.
Every therapy carries a screened contraindication list, and a practitioner checks it before anything is delivered. Being non-invasive is not the same as being suitable for everyone.

People also ask
Is naturopathy a replacement for my medication?
No, and we will never advise you to stop or change prescribed medication. Our services support your health alongside medical treatment, not instead of it. If anyone at a wellness centre tells you to stop a prescription, that is a reason to leave. Any change to medication is a conversation with the doctor who prescribed it.
What is the difference between naturopathy and physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy is assessment-led rehabilitation for pain and restricted movement, usually targeting a specific structure. Naturopathy is broader and lifestyle-led, working across diet, movement, stress and sleep. Nirmal Kaya offers both, and an assessment decides which you need — often it is a combination rather than one or the other.
