Health concerns
Is naturopathy a replacement for my medication?
No, and we will never advise you to stop or change prescribed medication. Our services support your health alongside medical treatment, not instead of it. If anyone at a wellness centre tells you to stop a prescription, that is a reason to leave. Any change to medication is a conversation with the doctor who prescribed it.
This is the single most important thing on this website, so it is stated plainly rather than buried in terms.
We are not a hospital and not an emergency facility. We do not diagnose. Where you need medical care, we say so and refer you.
How we work alongside a doctor
- Bring your prescriptions and reports so we can screen therapies against them
- Where you are under treatment, we support the lifestyle side and coordinate rather than compete
- Blood pressure readings above 180/120 need immediate medical attention, not an appointment with us
Still not sure? Call 7696661169 — we would rather explain twice than have you guess once.
People also ask
Do I need a doctor's referral to come to Nirmal Kaya?
No. You can book an assessment directly, and most people do. A referral is not required for anything we offer. If you are already under a doctor's care, bring their notes — we work alongside prescribed treatment rather than around it, and never advise you to stop or change medication.
What is naturopathy, and is it safe?
Naturopathy is a system of care using non-invasive methods — diet, movement, hydrotherapy, mud therapy, massage and lifestyle change — to support the body's own recovery. At Nirmal Kaya the scope is strictly non-invasive: no injections, no IV therapy, no colon hydrotherapy, and no advice to stop prescribed medication.
