Health concerns
Can naturopathy help with PCOS?
We provide lifestyle support for PCOS — nutrition, movement, stress and sleep — alongside gynaecological care, not instead of it. PCOS should be diagnosed and monitored by a gynaecologist. What we contribute is the day-to-day work that medication alone does not cover, delivered as a structured plan rather than general advice.
This is an area where the internet promises a great deal and delivers little, so we will be precise about what we do and do not claim.
We do not treat PCOS. We do not claim to reverse it. We support the lifestyle side, which is a recognised part of managing it, and we coordinate with the doctor already looking after you.
What a plan typically covers
- Nutrition built around your actual meals, with metabolic health as the aim
- Movement you can sustain, at a level matched to where you are now
- Sleep and stress support, both of which affect the same systems

People also ask
Can naturopathy help with weight and metabolism?
Yes, through nutrition, movement and the sleep and stress factors that affect metabolic health. We measure body composition rather than weight alone, because the number on a scale hides what is actually changing. Unexplained rapid weight loss, or newly diagnosed diabetes, should be reviewed by a physician first.
Is naturopathy a replacement for my medication?
No, and we will never advise you to stop or change prescribed medication. Our services support your health alongside medical treatment, not instead of it. If anyone at a wellness centre tells you to stop a prescription, that is a reason to leave. Any change to medication is a conversation with the doctor who prescribed it.
