Health concerns
Are your therapies safe during pregnancy?
Some are, some are not, and the answer depends on the stage of pregnancy and your obstetric history. Tell us before booking anything. Several therapies — particularly thermal, hydro and certain manual techniques — are screened out during pregnancy. We coordinate with your obstetrician rather than deciding alone.
Every therapy at Nirmal Kaya carries a contraindication list the practitioner checks before delivery. Pregnancy appears on several of them, and being non-invasive does not make something automatically safe.
What we ask
- Tell us you are pregnant, and how many weeks, when you book
- Tell us about any complications, previous or current
- Tell us who is caring for you obstetrically, so we can coordinate
If we are not confident a therapy is appropriate, we decline it. That is not caution for its own sake — it is the only defensible answer when the alternative is guessing.
Still not sure? Call 7696661169 — we would rather explain twice than have you guess once.

Can I come just for a massage, or must I buy a programme?
You can book a single treatment. Individual sessions are published on the price list and bookable without any programme. What we will not do is deliver a therapy that is not appropriate for you — every treatment is screened against your history first, even a one-off massage.
Is naturopathy a replacement for my medication?
No, and we will never advise you to stop or change prescribed medication. Our services support your health alongside medical treatment, not instead of it. If anyone at a wellness centre tells you to stop a prescription, that is a reason to leave. Any change to medication is a conversation with the doctor who prescribed it.
